About Us

Founded in 2024 by Evan and Thomas Williams, Lantern Way Investments is an extension of successful private investing that the brothers have been engaged in since 2017. 

Evan professionally hails from the metals and chemicals industry where he had been participating in and running sales organizations since 2011. He has experience with start-ups having served as an early anchor investor and board member to JFQ Lending, Inc. and Linus Financial, Inc., both of which had successful exits. Evan received his BA in International Business and Spanish from Rhodes College and a Masters of Global Business Administration from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

Tom has spent the better part of a decade running the Williams Family Farm in Northeast Ohio. He understands that dedication leads to success and brings that philosophy to Lantern Way Investments. Previous to his experience in maple syrup production and timber management, Tom studied philosophy and business at Boston University, Hiram University, and Kent State University.

The Williams Family has deep ties to Northeast Ohio, especially Cleveland, the first city in the world to have municipal electrical light installed in downtown's Public Square. Technological innovation is not commonly associated with Cleveland but has been the driver of the local economy starting with Rockefeller's Standard Oil through today's global medical leading Cleveland Clinic.

We want to continue this tradition by helping to fund and guide companies in our backyard and elsewhere to drive the future.
